Laboratory of Advanced Science and Technology for Industry (LASTI), University of Hyogo was established in 1992. NewSUBARU synchrotron light facility was constructed in SPring-8 is operated by LASTI and the commissioning was stated from January in 2000. NewSUBARU is the largest synchrotron light facility which is operating by university in Japan, and middle size facility in the world. The configuration of NewSUBARU is shown in Fig. 1. Electron is supplied from the linear accelerator which is the injector of SPring-8 synchrotron light source. The electron energy range of the electron storage ring is from 1.0 to 1.5 GeV, and the typical electron storage current is 300 mA in the 1.0 GeV-top-up-operation mode.

Nine beamlines are now operating at NewSUBARU. Using these beamlines, the application using synchrotron radiation (SR) are listed in the following Table 1. The applications are the advanced lithography for semiconductor devices, medical applications for LIGA process, advanced chemical analysis for the various materials, and gamma ray generation by laser-compton and its application.
