主要从事化学成像、纳米医学等方面研究工作,共发表论文50余篇,被引11000余次,h指数50。以第一/通讯作者在Nat. Nanotechnol.、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.、J. Am. Chem. Soc.、Adv. Mater.、ACS Nano、Adv. Funct. Mater.等期刊发表论文25篇,其中2篇入选ESI热点论文,7篇入选ESI高被引论文。入选福建省“闽江学者”特聘教授、福建省引进高层次B类人才、福建省“雏鹰计划”青年拔尖人才。
