 Reserach Overview (科研简介) 

No expertise and a lot of curiosity!

Our group research interests focus on design and synthesis of bioinspired and biomimetic materials for nanomedicince, biomedical engineering, biocatalysis or bioorthogonal catalysis, and X-ray optogenetics applications. We have pulished around 80 high-impact papers, with citations near 6800 and an H-index of 44. 

目前主要从事生命分析化学及化学生物学相关的基础研究与应用,包括仿生人工细胞、生物正交催化/生物催化、纳米医药(针对糖尿病、神经退行性疾病、癌症等疾病)、X射线光遗传学等。近年来已在相关领域发表SCI论文80余篇,其中第一作者/通讯作者论文30余篇,包括:Nat. Nanotechnol. (2篇), Nat. Chem. Biol., Sci. China Life Sci., J. Am.  Questions (考生疑虑解答)

1、文章作者如何安排?

答:上面陈老师第一作者的文章是其在博士和博士后期间发表工作,并非入职福大之后学生的工作。现在组内学生自己的工作,学生自己排第一作者,陈老师不会要第一作者。

2、是否会安排学生做实验室或科研以外的杂活?

答:陈老师注重学习,希望学生把精力集中在学习、科研和长技能等方面上。如果在实在忙不过来的时候,麻烦学生帮忙做自己个人事务时,会自掏腰包提供一定的酬劳。

3、会提供学习和科研上的指导吗?

答:陈老师能做好为人师表的本职工作:实验上遇到问题,会通过组会或平时讨论,帮助分析实验失败的原因,提供相应的实验建议、或者寻找解决方法的思路、或者跟学生一起做实验,解决问题;此外,也会从文献阅读、解析文献、文章写作等方面提供指导;也会及时修改文章,尊重学生的每一个工作,不论发表在哪里,都会认真修改。

但是,需要特别注意,老师主要负责提建议、指导、完善,不是替学生去做事情,希望每位学生能理清思路。陈老师希望学生培养能够自发热爱学习的习惯,积极查阅文献与动脑的能力,最终能成为一个独立思考和解决问题的研究生。

4、老师会催着要数据吗?

答:陈老师不会push。会帮学生制定好规划,以把课题做清楚、做明白为原则,按部就班推进课题进展,不论课题大小。

5、组内氛围如何?

答:陈老师要求组里一定要团结,大家相互尊重,陈老师也不会挑拨学生恶意竞争。大家来自五湖四海,相聚一起是缘分,希望在陈组读书能给每个学生留下一段美好回忆。

6、额外要求有吗?

答:<1> 不能在实验室打游戏、看小说、刷视频。

7、是否会延期毕业?

答:陈老师坚决不会故意延期学生毕业,一切按照福大相关条例进行,只要达到学校毕业要求,会保证让学生按时毕业;如果学生自己因找工作等原因,需要延期,不反对也不强迫。
